The first movement, Hope, is for Advent and captures a mood of hopeful anticipation of Christ’s birth. This is followed by Peace which continues the journey through quiet reverence at the manger. The final selection, Joy, abounds in energy and playful carols all celebrating the good news, Christ has come. Each section can stand on its own separately or the entire work can be performed from beginning to end.
